John and Kristin Meier are husband and wife artists residing in Phoenix, the Valley of the Sun. For almost 30 years, they have provided a unique and highly detailed style of graphite and charcoal drawing. Their love for God's nature and His creations have been the inspiration for their drawing.
John developed his interest in art while in high school in Tempe, AZ. At one point, his art teacher refused to let him leave class until he correctly completed his drawing. Since then, he and Kristin have produced dozens of pictures that are put into print and are found in thousands of homes and businesses around the world. An avid fisherman and outdoorsman, John is able to capture a unique quality to his fishing and wildlife scenes with amazing detail and composition.
Kristin also developed her interest in art while in high school in Glendale, AZ. She admits it was the main thing that she enjoyed about school. Kristin met John at a college group at church and dated him for several months before they discovered their mutual interest and style of drawing. Although she keeps busy raising their three children, Kristin still finds some time to draw and add to their collection.

The majority of the Meier's artwork is done with various grades of graphite and charcoal. They also implement the use of pastels, prismacolors, and watercolor. Each copyrighted design was completely hand-drawn without the use of templates, overlays, projectors, or computer assistance. Many of the pieces entailed over 100 hours of drawing time.
